Tips &s Reminders

Tips:
    Safety for your property & Cougle's Recycling Drivers:
  • Maintain clear and safe access to your container
  • Make sure your container is in an open and well-lit area
  • Overhead clearance must be a minimum of 14 feet
  • No hot or flammable material in or around the container
    Avoiding delay of service:
  • Ensure no vehicles are parked in front or on sides of the containers
  • Please have gates or access to containers unlocked for service
  • Keep container clear of snow and ice
  • Please put dock locks down upon calling in pickup
    Keep a clean area:
  • To avoid spillage, container lids and side doors should be closed
  • If you have additional volumes of recyclables please keep it clear of the service area, and schedule an additional pick up.
  • Secure load on trailer and close trailer doors (if trailer is equipped with a roll up door)
  • All palletized material to be shrink wrapped or banded pallets
  • When stacking material assure stability for safe transport and unloading ease
  • For additional pickups due to high volumes, please contact our Dispatch at 610-562-8336 ext 12 to schedule an additional pickup.
    The following items are NOT allowed in Recycling containers:
  • Appliances
  • yard waste
  • Flammables
  • fluorescent tubes
  • Any type of container containing hazardous materials
  • pots and pans
  • Plate glass, window glass, mirrors
  • any type of oil including oil rags
  • miscellaneous plastic
  • light bulbs
  • Anything containing food or restroom waste
  • oil cans

Holiday Schedule
    Cougle's Recycling observes the following holidays:
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • New Years Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Memorial Day
  • If your scheduled collection service falls on a listed observed holiday, collection will be delayed one service day during the week.
    Normal service will resume the following week
