All materials generated are picked up with the appropriate vehicle. Once the materials arrive at our facility, the vehicle is unloaded and the material is weighed and graded (with the exception of outside container service, where the material is graded and the weight is estimated on-site). The material is then taken to the appropriate storage area and staged until it is loaded on to a sorting line. It is then separated by a combination of mechanical and manual processes to segregate the material into specific grades (these grades are separated by material quality and properties).
“Since your visit we have implemented an aggressive recycling plan and reduced our waste disposal by 60%.
